Is Parlosofy Free?
Yes! For our early testers, the first classes are completely free as part of our app development process. In exchange, we kindly ask for your feedback to help us improve.
What is a class?
A class is a private group space on our app, accessible only by you and your students through a unique link we provide.
How do I secure a free spot?
Click the “Join the Wishlist” button and we’ll get in touch with you. You’ll need to have at least two student emails ready and be open to filling out quick feedback forms to help us improve the platform.
What languages are offered?
Currently, the platform’s interface is in English for testing purposes. However, your private class content can be in any language you choose.
What content can I upload?
Right now, you can upload written content, such as: conversation prompts with tips, fill-in-the-gap exercises & multiple-choice questions. Voice messages and images are in development, and we’re planning to add social media-style content sharing soon!
Can I see how students respond?
Yes! Both you and your students will get anonymous, aggregated insights about the class’s answers. Students will also see corrections on their saved conversations. More detailed dashboards are on the way!
Is my data secure?
Absolutely. All data is stored securely in Firebase. You can also use usernames instead of real names for added privacy. All groups are private during this testing phase and we can erase your data from our system anytime upon request.
